Rosengart Spider

This Rosengart is restored from rusty ironscrap by B. Velthuis. This is a handmade prototype from France. In all probability it was used as race-car, because there is a big kill-button in it. The car is not fast for modern standards (Maybe 55 km/h.) but who cares? The engine is only a 750 CC 4-stroke! It's a very small car, most people will not fit. Rosengart built their first cars in licence of Austin Seven, so the engine and undercarriage are the same.

It's a strange car, look at the strange bump at the bunnet! when the screwcap of the radiator did not fit. the maker of this car made this bum for more room. The car isn't straight at all. The left fender has different sizes than the right. But it isn't strange, because this car is hand-made out of iron strips.
